Human Second Opinion terms

These Marketplace Terms apply between you and ReadYourLab Kft. (Hungary) when you order a Human Second Opinion on readyourlab.com. Hungarian law applies; the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live are not affected.

The service is provided by the radiologist you choose. Radiologists are independent healthcare professionals in the network of DocOrbit Danışmanlık Ltd. Şti. (Folkart Towers A Kule, Bayraklı/İzmir, Türkiye; info@docorbit.com), a technology company that is not a healthcare provider. ReadYourLab is DocOrbit's referral partner: it arranges the contract between you and the radiologist and earns a commission from DocOrbit. Neither ReadYourLab nor DocOrbit provides medical services.

Radiologists are not employed by or affiliated with ReadYourLab. They hold professional licences issued by the licensing authorities of the countries where they practise, not in your country or state. DocOrbit verifies each radiologist's specialist qualification, licence and professional liability insurance before the radiologist can accept cases; ReadYourLab relies on that verification.

ReadYourLab provides only these services: showing the radiologists in DocOrbit's network, taking your order, storing your files temporarily, passing your order to the radiologist through DocOrbit, delivering the report, and accepting the payment on the radiologist's behalf. ReadYourLab does not review, edit or check the medical content of any report and is not a party to the Report Agreement.

The radiologist is responsible for the service and the report; ReadYourLab is responsible for the platform, the payment and the delivery. Radiologists are listed by price, lowest first.

The price shown is the radiologist's list price, the same as on docorbit.com. No VAT is added. ReadYourLab passes your payment in full to DocOrbit for the radiologist; DocOrbit pays ReadYourLab a commission, which does not increase your price. DocOrbit emails you the invoice for the full amount after the report, to the billing details you enter at payment; ReadYourLab does not issue invoices to patients.

Reports are second opinions for you and your treating physician. They are not intended for legal, insurance or regulatory proceedings.

Questions or complaints about the platform, payment or delivery: use our contact form. Questions or complaints about the medical content of a report go to the radiologist: write to us and we will pass them on, or contact DocOrbit at info@docorbit.com. You can also turn to the authority that licenses the radiologist. For consumer disputes with ReadYourLab you can contact the Győr-Moson-Sopron County Conciliation Board (Győr-Moson-Sopron Vármegyei Békéltető Testület) or the conciliation board where you live.

This Report Agreement is between you and the radiologist you selected (the 'Radiologist'). The Radiologist provides the service and is responsible for the report. ReadYourLab arranges this agreement and, through the Radiologist's network partner DocOrbit, transmits your order and accepts payment on the Radiologist's behalf. The law of the country where the Radiologist practises applies; the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live are not affected.

The Radiologist is an independent healthcare professional in the network of DocOrbit Danışmanlık Ltd. Şti. (Türkiye), a technology company that is not a healthcare provider. The Radiologist is not employed by or affiliated with ReadYourLab, and holds a professional licence issued by the licensing authority of the country where they practise, not in your country or state. DocOrbit verifies the Radiologist's specialist qualification, licence and professional liability insurance; on request, we send you the Radiologist's licensing authority, registration number and insurer.

The Radiologist will prepare and sign an independent written diagnostic second opinion on the images and the information you provide, under the professional rules of their own country, for you to discuss with your treating physician. The Radiologist will not examine you, will not start a treatment relationship with you, and does not replace your treating physician. This service is not for emergencies.

Price: the price shown when you order. No VAT is charged. ReadYourLab accepts the payment on the Radiologist's behalf; paying ReadYourLab settles what you owe under this agreement. DocOrbit emails you the invoice for the full amount after the report.

The Radiologist accepts or declines your case within 24 hours after it is submitted, and delivers the report within 48 hours after acceptance. If the Radiologist declines or does not accept, you receive a full refund.

You asked for the service to start immediately. Your right of withdrawal ends once the Radiologist has accepted your case and started working on it. From then on the order is non-refundable, including if you disagree with the findings or are dissatisfied with the report; the only exception is if the report is not delivered, in which case you receive a full refund.

The Radiologist is liable for the report under the applicable law and holds professional liability insurance. Nothing in this agreement limits that liability.

The Radiologist receives your scan and your medical information through DocOrbit's platform and processes them as your healthcare provider. DocOrbit processes them and your billing details to run its platform and to issue the invoice.

When you order a Human Second Opinion, ReadYourLab stores your uploaded scan files and documents, the medical information you type in, your order details and the billing details (name, address, email) you enter at payment.

With your explicit consent, ReadYourLab passes your scan files, documents, medical information and billing details to DocOrbit Danışmanlık Ltd. Şti. (Türkiye), which runs the radiologist network, so that the radiologist you selected can prepare the report and DocOrbit can issue the invoice. The radiologist processes your medical data as your healthcare provider; DocOrbit processes them to run its platform and to issue the invoice. Transfers to Türkiye are covered by standard contractual clauses.

ReadYourLab deletes your uploaded scan files and documents 30 days after your report is delivered or your order is refunded, and deletes unpaid uploads after 7 days. The report stays in your account until you delete your account. Order and payment records are kept as required for accounting.
