Is ReadYourLab compliant with data privacy regulations?
Absolutely. ReadYourLab is built with privacy and security in mind and supports HIPAA- and GDPR-aligned practices. Your health data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and we never share your data with third parties. Your data is stored during analysis and can be deleted at any time with a single click from your profile.
How do we process payments?
We use Stripe to securely process payments. You can purchase analysis packages of various sizes, and the analyses will be added to your account immediately after purchase. We do not store your payment information on our servers; all transactions are handled securely through Stripe.
Are AI-based radiology reports reviewed by a radiologist?
We use the MedGemma AI model to generate the radiology report. MedGemma is a specialized medical AI model designed for analyzing CT scans, MRI images, and clinical data. It excels at 3D volumetric imaging analysis and translating medical terminology into plain language. The report you receive is generated by the MedGemma AI model and is not reviewed by a radiologist. Our reports serve as an informational walk-through and a guide to help you understand your scan, but do not replace a human radiologist.
Is ReadYourLab a substitute for a doctor?
No. ReadYourLab is not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment from your own provider. We provide educational context to help you interpret blood tests and imaging reports, prepare questions, and make better use of your medical appointments.
Does ReadYourLab understand 3D volumetric CT scans or just single images?
ReadYourLab analyzes a complete image series as a 3D volume, not just single slices. For best results, upload the whole series so the AI can read the full 3D image stack — that gives a far more reliable summary than any single slice.
Can I upload multiple DICOM (.dcm) files?
Yes! ReadYourLab is designed to handle multiple DICOM files. When you upload a folder containing your .dcm files, our system automatically organizes them by patient, scan, and image series. You can upload entire DICOM folders with hundreds of .dcm files, and the system will group related images together. For best results, upload the complete folder containing all your scan files rather than individual files. Can I try it free?
Yes! Your first analysis is completely free — no credit card required. That covers one image series from your CT or MRI, which is enough to see exactly how it works. After that, you can buy an analysis package to continue analyzing scans and medical documents.
Do analysis packages expire?
No. Your package never expires. Use it whenever you need an analysis.
