Common questions about pricing and how analyses are counted.

What counts as one analysis?
Your scan is everything from one appointment — for example your whole 'MRI of the lower back'. Inside it are several image series: sets of pictures taken from different angles or with different settings. Most CT and MRI scans have 2–8 of them. Each image series is made up of many slices, the individual cross-section pictures, and the AI reads all the slices in a series together as one 3D stack. You pay per image series: 1 analysis = 1 image series. So a scan with 4 image series uses 4 analyses if you analyze all of them — and you choose which ones. An X-ray has no series, so 1 analysis = 1 X-ray.

Does ReadYourLab analyze my whole scan?
Yes — every image series you choose to analyze. It also uses any extra details you share and the radiology report you attach, if you have one, and brings everything together into a single Full Scan Report. Two technical notes worth knowing: 'Localizer' and 'Scout' images are skipped — these are quick positioning shots the technologist uses to line up the scanner, and they carry no diagnostic value. And a very long image series is capped at 127 slices; if it has more, we automatically pick 127 evenly spaced slices so the AI still sees the whole area from top to bottom.

Is the first analysis really free?
Yes, your first analysis is completely free. No credit card is required. Simply sign up and upload your DICOM files to get your first AI-powered radiology analysis at no cost.

Does my analysis package expire?
No, they never expire. Once you buy a package, the analyses stay in your account indefinitely until you use them.

Is there a subscription?
No, there is no subscription. All packages are one-time purchases. You buy analyses when you need them, and there are no recurring charges.

What payment methods do you accept?
All payments are processed securely through Stripe — we never see or store your card details.
