Common questions about pricing and how analyses are counted.

What counts as one examination?
An examination is one appointment at the imaging centre: for example your whole "MRI of the lower back" or "CT of the chest and abdomen". Inside it are several image series: sets of pictures taken from different angles or with different settings, and each series is made up of many slices, the individual cross-section pictures. One package unlocks the whole examination: every image series from that appointment, however many there are, plus the combined Full Scan Report and follow-up questions. If the clinic split one appointment into two studies (for example cervical and lumbar spine done in the same session), they still count as one examination. Scans from different dates are separate examinations. An X-ray is different: the X-ray package covers 5 X-ray images.

Does ReadYourLab analyze my whole examination?
Yes. Every image series from the appointment is read, and the results, any details you share and the radiology report you attach are brought together into a single Full Scan Report. Two technical notes: 'Localizer' and 'Scout' images are skipped, because they are quick positioning shots the technologist uses to line up the scanner and carry no diagnostic value; and a very long image series is capped at 127 slices, evenly spaced from top to bottom, so the AI still sees the whole area.

Is the first analysis really free?
Yes. The first image series of your examination is analyzed completely free, with no credit card required. Simply sign up and upload your DICOM files. To have the rest of the examination read, unlock it with a package.

Does my package expire?
No. An examination you have unlocked stays unlocked, and a package you bought but have not used yet waits in your account until you upload the next examination. Nothing expires.

Is there a subscription?
No. Every package is a one-time purchase for one examination. You buy one when you have a scan to read, and there are no recurring charges.

What payment methods do you accept?
All payments are processed securely through Stripe — we never see or store your card details. We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Korean domestic cards) plus a wide range of digital wallets and local payment methods, including Apple Pay, Google Pay, Amazon Pay, Samsung Pay, Revolut Pay, Link, MobilePay, MB WAY, Satispay, Kakao Pay, Naver Pay, PAYCO, iDEAL, Bancontact, BLIK, EPS, TWINT, Bizum, Pay By Bank, Pix, and UPI. The options shown at checkout adjust automatically to your country and currency.

Can I unlock more examinations later?
Yes. A follow-up scan, a scan from another date or a family member's examination is simply another package. You can buy several at once on this page, or come back whenever the next examination arrives.
